Trauma of Birth Reiki and a Side of Dark Piano

A quick post to continue my series on the Level 3 Kundalini Reiki healings.

I am so amazed at the nuances and differences between the various Level 3 healings. In each one I find different tones, feelings, colors, visuals and vibrations. I look forward to each experience.

Trauma of Birth Reiki healing came with a good deal of misgivings. I'm 46 years old by god, how can I feel something so long ago? But I endeavored on.

One point of similarity with many other of the healings - this one started with an energy surge up my right side, especially my hand. These surges are no longer disturbing like they were when I first encountered them.

The energy found it's way to my Solar Plexus and there it stayed and did it's work. I felt as if there was almost a hole in that area - penetrating from front to back.

Not painful, but somewhat inhibiting of my normal meditative breathing process. Fancy pants way of saying that I was a bit short of breath.

No visuals. A bit of warmth in my feet.

Energy concluded it's work with a final left side surge.

I came away feeling energized, recharged and very happy. Euphoric almost.

Crystalline and DNA Reiki Healings

In my continued practice of the Level 3 Kundalini Reiki healings, I have been working on Crystalline and DNA Reiki lately.

DNA Reiki is designed to strengthen the ability to heal DNA strands that makeup our “blue print.” Results should be noticeable after the first 3 weeks of Reiki.

Ole Gabrielsen wrote the manual on Kundalini Reiki. In it he describes Crystalline Reiki:

“Over all of the body we have small deposits of certain crystals. These are exit points for the traumas we have experienced through life. A crystal forms to hold the memory of the pain and the feelings of that trauma.”

Crystalline Reiki dissolves these crystals and heals the trauma within our body.

I self healed through intention of each of these healings. I must say, the two were completely different in feel.

DNA Reiki was very clinical in feel. As the energy flowed, the sensation was one of being in a very sterile, clean, shiny setting. I had an bothersome metallic taste in my mouth. I felt like I had just entered the doctor or dentist office.

Here’s the deal though. These feelings felt natural. They felt like they belonged with this type of Reiki. My Spirit Doctor was assuredly doing her work on my DNA. I was/am thankful.

Crystalline Reiki was almost completely the opposite. It had a very warm, subtle and fluid feel. I slowly ran my hands from my head to my feet. I stopped when I felt something.

For me, the “felt something” was tingling in my hands – especially my left. The greatest amount of tingling came over my Heart and Solar Plexus chakras.

The tingling ran all the way up my arm to my elbow. The sensation was as if the hair on my arm was standing up. It wasn’t, but it sure did feel like it. It tickled!

If you haven’t yet noticed – there are Reiki healings for many of the things we deal with as “spirits having a human body experience.” The reach of Reiki is extensive as a wonderful form of healing. I am truly thankful.

Practicing Reiki Healings

Practice makes perfect.

That is so very true, especially in the healing arts like Reiki. You wouldn’t want a doctor that didn’t go through a residency, you shouldn’t want a Reiki Practitioner that doesn’t practice healing.

That’s been my Modus operandi throughout this week. As RuthAnn has been working to put together our new Website, I’ve been taking each of my Master Level Kundalini Reiki healings and slowly working through them.

Here are the Healings:

• Diamond Reiki
• Crystalline Reiki
• DNA Reiki
• Trauma of Birth Reiki
• Location Reiki
• Past Life Reiki
• Balance Reiki

For today, I want to relay my experience with Past Life Reiki and Location Reiki.

I have never been as relaxed, yet expectant with any other healing as I was with Past Life Reiki. A definite calm came over me the instant I started the healing session and lasted throughout. In fact it last for hours afterward.

Three sessions are required for Past Life Reiki to be effective and complete. During this session, I had an overwhelming sense of “Being prepared” for the sessions to come. Stay tuned!

Just as there are karmic bands/ties between people, there is also a band or tie that we humans have with places and the Earth in general. Ever felt “tied” to a certain place? That’s what a Location Reiki healing deals with. It heals any negative bond we may have with a specific place or the entire earth.

In the late 80’s, I lived and worked in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennesse. While I absolutely love the area and feel a strong karmic bond with the area, I had some issues in my life while there. Negative issues that still cause me some pain.

Enter Location Reiki healing for Frank! Here are my notes from the experience:

Felt like a warm blanket had been put around me. Very much like I feel from an Energy Hug. Energy very subtle in hands. Left foot warm. Light in minds eye very bright.Felt very much like something had been cleaned up in my life having to do with Gatlinburg.

Practice, practice, practice.

I rarely post praise type things about me, but I had a deal with my Teacher Alice. I asked her to give me a topic and I would blog it. She did, and like the good student that I am ;), here goes!

My Thoughts:

When I started this journey with energy work and Reiki, little did I know just how rewarding it would be. Daily, I do work that produces positive results in peoples lives. Almost daily, I receive some type of affirmation of my work. Like the comment from John Zajaros above.

It’s been a few years now since I worked a regular 9-5 type job. I have almost forgotten the feeling of being used, abused and significantly under appreciated. I lived in “Cubicle Hell” for a long time.

I am an Online Affiliate Marketer by trade now. I am blessed to work from home with my wife. But even in marketing, I rarely see the validation of knowing you are making a difference.

Kundalini Reiki has changed all that for me.

When I first experienced the healing Reiki energy in my body I was changed.

When I learned how to bring that same healing to others, I was changed.

And now that I am able to teach others to do the same, it is a humbling life change that I am so very thankful for each and every day.

I thank each of you for reading and participating in this journey with me.

3 Lessons I’ve Learned While Practicing Reiki

I’m sitting here this Saturday morning thinking about all I have learned and experienced on my journey to Kundalini Reiki Master. As I pondered the questions of “Why me?”, Why Reiki?”, “Why now?”, one of my favorite songs came on my Blip.fm account – One by U2.

And I heard these lyrics:

Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come here to play Jesus?
To the lepers in your head.

It’s true, I want to help others. I think of myself as a Healer. It's not only what I do, it’s who I am.

But, I’m not playing Jesus. I can't raise the dead.

Lesson #1: Removing your suffering is up to you.

V. Amador puts it this way in “BEing Reiki - “Reiki can heal, can relieve pain, but don’t expect reiki to do the work of removing the conditionings that veil awakening.”

Reiki is a participatory sport. It takes both the Practitioner and the recipient to bring about results.

Lesson #2: Reiki doesn’t require belief. It is.

Whatever doubts and concerns I had in the beginning about Reiki and it’s ability to help and heal have been erased by this truth – “Reiki doesn’t require belief. It is.” (from my Teacher Alice Langholts’ Distance Healing Guidebook ).

Just BE is my mantra. When I AM - healing energy flows.

Lesson #3: Intention is a powerful little sucker!

Just like with the Law of Attraction that is so popular today, with Kundalini Reiki, energy flows with intention. I have no symbols or specific hand positions with this form of Reiki. It is my intention and the intention of the person receiving the energy that brings the healing.

With intention I have seen:

• Back pain ceased
• Insomnia cured (My wife)
• Entities removed
• Toxins cleared (Me)
• Moods enhanced
• Energy restored
• Stress relieved

Intention is powerful.

These are my lessons learned so far in this journey. I look forward to the road ahead.

Frank Dickinson - Kundalini Reiki Master

I simply cannot believe it! This morning I received my Kundalini Reiki Level 3 or Master Level from my amazing Teacher Alice Langholt of Reiki Awakening.

Now hear me say this right off the bat. Master is a vague and often misunderstood term in this field. Referring to someone as a Master in Reiki conjures up images for some of a person that has reached nirvana and is only loosely associated with us mere humans.

For me, mastering anything is a continual process of growth and discovery. I don’t know everything there is to know about Reiki and all it entails. Here’s a hint: no one does – don’t be fooled.

Master Level is the 3rd and final Level in Kundalini Reiki. I’ve achieved that, and I am happy to be described as a Master. But I will always be digging in the proverbial Reiki garden, discovering new and helpful insights, techniques and teachings.

A few personal notes on the Level 3 Attunement:

• In my minds eye I saw a vision of my body being separated into two distinct sides.
• I felt the energy move up through my middle Chakras ->Solar Plexus->Heart->Throat.
• After this, I felt completely whole.
• All this was given to me in a gentle, subtle way that caused me no fear, but gave me a sense of peace and fulfillment.

Here's the realization that was revealed to me during this time: I don't receive energy through attunements or healings through the WAM, BANG, knock your socks off, Damascus road kind of experience.

I receive it in a very subtle, yet powerful way. I had, and have now a sense of complete acceptance of this. I no longer fight to feel some great explosion of energy and insight. It is how my Higher Self wants me to receive. It teaches me in a way that causes me to have to be very sensitive and focused in order to receive.

I am a very fortunate man to have Kundalini Reiki as a part of my life.

Get The Hoses I'm On Fire!

Okay, I'm eating hummus while writing this blog post so if I'm a bit off my rock, you'll understand. I LOVE hummus with fire roasted peppers on Greek pita bread!

Anyway - two days after receiving my Level One attunement, Alice sent my Level Two. At this level, the the Reiki energy is further awakened alighting the "Kundalini Fire." The image for this post is a visual demonstration of this "Fire".

The best way to describe what I now experience during self-healing, or while working with others, is intense heat and surges of electric energy. I usually feel the heat in my feet, legs and hands. The surges of electric energy come up from my Solar Plexus and travels through my Heart Chakra and down through my hands. It is simply the coolest sensation!

Each day now I do a Kundalini Reiki Meditation that strengthens the Kundalini Fire and opens my energy channels for cleansing. I sense the energy blocks that I've had over the years being slowly, gently opened and released. Calmness of mind and spirit are growing each day.

My First Healing Session

With my first attunement in tow, I set out to practice the different types of healings allowed for Level One. They are:

1. Self/Other
   
2. Remote/Distance
3. Location/House/Room (cleaning)
4. Karmic Band
5. Situation/Personal Trait (anger, smoking, unemployment

My intention was for my wife RuthAnn. She had recently undergone total knee replacement and was dealing with the after effects of pain and swelling.

She was seated in a comfortable chair and asked to simply relax and open her mind. From behind, I lightly placed my hands on her shoulders, stated my intention and started the energy by simply saying "Reiki".

My experience was one of warmth from my feet to my hands. In addition, each hand tingled. The tingling was something like when a part of your body goes numb and then the feeling starts to come back.

The emotion of knowing that I was running healing energy for someone I love so dearly was a beautiful experience. In all my subsequent healing sessions I have felt a sense of gratitude, but this one was special.

After 5-6 minutes the energy ebbed and then stopped.

I asked RuthAnn to write her experience of the session. Here is what she relayed:

My first healing experience May 10, 2009:

As I sat in the chair, prior to hearing the word, Reiki, I felt something enter up my groin, traveling up the center of my body. Eyes closed, my mind free of any and all thoughts except for the awareness of the gentle music flowing around me. An aura was beginning to surround me, mixing with unwelcome senses leaving my body, filtering through the aura, only to dissipate somewhere outside of my being. At one point, I felt the need to turn my palms upward, fingers spread slightly to allow this aura I was sensing to have the , what I felt was the needed ability to move free of any obstacles.As the healing concluded and even now as I sit here, documenting my experience, I feel lighter...less bogged down with what, I do not know. All I do know is that this is a pleasant feeling.

Sportin' A Level One Attunement

In order for a person to learn Kundalini Reiki, there are three "attunements" that you must receive from a Kundalini Reiki Master/Teacher. Being attuned to Reiki gives one the ability to easily access the Reiki (Universal Life Force) energy, for the purpose of healing a person or situation.

On the evening of May 8th I received my Level One Attunement from my Master/teacher Alice Langholt. Check out her Blog about her experiences with Reiki here: Reiki Awakening

Here are the instructions I received from her regarding what to do: "Simply rest in a quiet place, and mentally intend "I will now receive the Kundalini Reiki level 1 attunement sent by Alice." The attunement will start immediately and continue for about 25 minutes."

Excited, unsure, scared and completely happy I prepared myself to receive by sitting quietly in a chair here in our office. After doing my best to clear my thoughts I "called in" the attunement. I was not completely sure what to expect, if anything - what I encountered was far beyond what I could imagine.

It started slowly and built in intensity and emotion over the next 30 minutes. Each and every one of the feelings were received in such a subtle, yet powerful way. There was no panic or fear.

Afterward I wrote a free flow email to Alice describing the experience. I'll include it here. Please excuse the length and mistakes of the post - I felt you would want to see my experience:

free flow: I sat in soft chair palms upward focused on breathing After approximately 5 minutes I could begin to feel the energy coming in. By "feel" I mean that I sensed a warm coming to through my hands especially my left hand more breathing more focus hands are getting warmer and warmer. The tops of my legs are cold, but the heat in my hands is not diminished by it. Left hand very warm Probably at somewhere around 12-15 minutes the warm began moving up my arms to the point of my elbows I am very relaxed, but not tired. There is a sort of ebbing and flowing of the light in my mind. Very dark, then lighter - very dark then lighter The next experience was a gift. The warmth then began in my face - specifically around my nose and mouth area. Intuitively, in my mind, I heard "the words from your mouth will bring healing" wow....I'm not sure how to take this, but intuitively I hear it over and over for several minutes. It feels right My hands. I sense that the warmth is a message that they are warm as a reminder that it is through the hands that the energy will moved and healing will come to me and others As the attunement began to end two things happened both associated with this warmth From my knees to my feet I became very warm - sweating and then a few minutes later the same area became cool...like a cool breeze had blown over the area Somehow I knew that the coming had ended I was/am very relaxed - somewhat emotional amazing and beautiful as I said in the chat poof FD

Remembering back 7 days to that night, here are my perceptions now:

• Although I have meditated for several years, I've never experienced anything like this.
• Energy feels good!
• Healing energy is beautiful both for the eyes and spirit.
• The warmth of energy makes one feel secure and loved.
• Everyone needs to experience this.

I am eternally grateful to the Universe for bringing Alice Langholt across my path. Thank you Teacher, Guide and Friend.

I am also thankful for the opportunity that will soon be coming to share these attunements with others who want to experience, learn and grow.

Starting the Reiki Journey With Excitement

I am an Affiliate Marketer by trade and passion. My second passion is Reiki. I came upon Reiki energy healing recently while Twittering (@FrankDickinson) and searching for more followers under the search term: Healing Arts. There I found @ReikiAwakening and a lady named Alice Langholt .

After reading Alice's website, my mind and spirit began to open up to the need for a greater emphasis on my spiritual side. I have been wanting more and more to find other ways to help. As I continued to read, it became obvious that kundalini Reiki could be a very "hands on" (Yes, pun intended!) way to help those in need.

That was May 6th, 2009. Just 8 days ago. So very much has happened in those eight days and every second of it has been exciting! I find myself in awe of what can happen when you are open to what the universe has in store for you.

Tomorrow I will begin posting about what has taken place during the last days. It is my intention to offer this blog not as some "proof" for Reiki energy healing. Reiki has been around a long time and doesn't need me to defend it.

I simply want to post my experience, my feelings, my fears and my joys. I want to give you an idea of what this amazing healing art is all about.
